Asha Philip

Olympian

Asha Philip is a Team GB sprinter and two-time Olympic medalist who has made her mark on the global stage. Known for her explosive starts and vibrant personality, Asha has become one of the UK’s most decorated and fastest athletes.

Asha’s journey is as inspiring as it is remarkable. She began her career representing Great Britain in both Athletics and Gymnastics, becoming a World Youth Champion in both sports. However, her path took an unexpected turn when a freak put her sporting career in jeopardy. Over four grueling years of recovery, Asha’s resilience and determination saw her return stronger than ever, this time focusing solely on Athletics.

Since then, Asha has solidified her place as a household name in sport, winning medals at the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and claiming multiple British titles. She remains the British 60m Record Holder and a 10-time British Champion across the 60m and 100m.

Off the track, Asha’s passion for empowering the next generation is evident. She serves as a board member for the British Elite Athlete Association, is a member of the European Athletics Athlete Commission, and is the Co-Founder of The Athlete Gateway, a community platform for athletes.
